Hello Cherokee Forum!Ok I have been a member here for quite a while now and have not once made a build thread. So Here go's:I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Country(or so it says on my insurance) with 203,xxx miles. When I got the jeep it was a pile of cow dung and since then have made some upgrades.
Heres my babe in its natural position!

And here's what Iv done:
One of the first things I did was buy an optima yellow top battery I just recently did the big 3/6 upgrade.lol

About 3-4 days ago I was on the highway hauling *** when my guage light came on and my battery was dead. After reading a couple of threads on here and seeing the symptons the jeep was having, I knew iI needed a new alt.$150 later and a liftime warranty here it was.

Also A couple of weeks ago I got $300 for a shwinn occ chopper bike in mint condition which my mom had baught me when I was younger.I only used it a couple of times and put it in storage(sorry no pics). So with the money I decided I needed to fix my exhaust leak and baught an APE header and some header wrap from fleebay, and has made a HUGE difference in my daily commute.

Yesterday I got paid and decided to change my oil, so heres my gear.lol

So for now this is all I got but Im still Going to do ALOT more.I still want to get the whole front bumer and some other stuff.Just look in my sig for what I'm looking for, and If you wanna get rid of it PM me and we'l work something out.

A small little update.Yesterday night I removed the drivers side door panel and took off the power lock switch board. Then I was able clean everything, and put some new dielectric grease on all the cantacts thanks to this little thread here:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/ho...-switch-86322/
Then I was able to re-soder the broken soder points thanks to this thread here:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/am...-switch-98618/
I just went ahead and re-sodered all the points just to make sure it didnt happen again(sorry no pics). Also now my auto-window switch works and all the little switches light up at night, I highly recommend doing this if your handy with the sodering iorn! All Props go's to Northwoods Snowman for the excellent writeups!

Almost forgot, I also fixed the rear hatch.I was never able to open it, the po(my cuz) told me that it stoped working one day, so i thaught I had to buy a new rear handle and mechanism. But yesterday I took apart the panel on hatch and found out it was just a rod that needed to be re-adjusted and tightened. Now I can pen it!!!I'l try to post pics later on tonight! And the reason I dont do anything in the days is because its HOT down here!!

The black and gold works well! Are you able to run it down there without the front bumper or do you have plans to slap on an aftermarket? I know here in PA running no bumper is a fast way to get a traffic citation.

I always loved seeing the LED's above license plates. I think it makes the car look new or more update!
