Default amber; black 2dr

well heres a build story for my jeep named amber.
In 2010 I bought amber from my friend along with his rolled jeep. payed $1000 and then addiction began.
the set after mix matching and such came out to this:
93 4x4 2dr ax15 231j hp30 and 8.25 27spline
3"inch bastard pack and assembled lift components

not soon after i bought 31s and played around then the first thing I broke. swiss cheese air box deep water.

my brother got it out of this

so time for a new used engine. donor was a 94 grand cherokee confirmed 7120 head. the old engine needed something other than water to finish it off

after this I got a set of 32x11.5 tires with 30% tread for $40. had to get some wheels so my friend gave me a set of 15x10 steels for free they needed some tlc.

before

and after some tlc

well then went out to a local spot to test out the jeep well that went so well. foleded my fenders a bit

so fender cutting insued

yes i know thats redneck and unsafe but my brothers jeep had the jack stands and no axles at the time. fenders where trimmed while wheels and tires where on and no one went under the jeep.
for my birthday we went to TSF a atv park and played around I got my ramse 8500lbs reciever winch for my present from everyone.

after that I did a budget boost and installed a half cage and tire carrier.

got stuck in the snow

and scaled it

anyways along the way at this point I had done some mods jeep sat now
with welded rear 99 intake bored throtle body 4.5" of lift.

tore the engine down checked valve main bearing replaced all the seals upgrade water pump header idler pully oil filter thromast made engine mounts have a 99 intake bored throttle body $2.5 throttle body spacer, neon injectors, super chip. forgot some more.

so some of the family stuff

and adventures and aftermath

Looks good! Like what you did with the free wheels.

Is that hammered paint? Any more pics of it with those?

yeah its hammered paint had a can sitting around from fender flares and kick pannels. the center section had some issues with chiping so used that and they turned out pretty good. lasted decent up until i sold them. ill look at my other pics when i get a chance.

stretching it out before the shacle relocators

not my best looking welds but they shall hold

the new shackle and shackle relocator going to build a brace for it when I time. had to buy longer shackles cause I was off in my design and my MJ shackle flated out when I used them.

stretching after the new stuff

so over all reaction jeep sits .5" higher than before, going over bumps is alot and I repeat alot smoother. she flexes better with little to no. issue. next is zj coils and 1500 ram front shocks. thanks Demonoid369 for helping out.

some from fabing the front. people think they are kinda weird made frame for them out of 1/2 inch round stock with them being tied into the bumpers slides and frame then cut up a set of old doors and used the sheet metal for the skin. I hit a deer at 55mph bent the one barely and fronts can support me at 235lbs standing on them.

I was driving through there during the summer. More Albany area. There was a farm I was working at during it. Now Im mostly driving around Corvallis and occasionally back home to Gresham. Im getting ready to tear out the back half of my drive train. Ill be putting in a SYE kit, new drive line, and throwing a Chrysler 8.25 under her. hows your XJ doing these days?

jeep now sits at 5" lift leveled it out with some zj coils in the front my that my number six tube on my header broke in two hope to weld it up on the 23rd build party at a friends on NAXJA. this monday hoping to install new front shocks got shock mounts last monday from junk yard. hit a snag though on funds so things just got real tight real fast before our wedding.
