ok, got them out of the direct sun and you can see the finish a little better. seems to bet getting glossier as it dries.. i'm sure once fully cured it will die down some...
don't mind the mess in the background..

well go the lift installed today. i assume the rear springs will settle out. i like the way it sits. i'm gonna put a t-case drop on it (a friend has the stuff laying around) until i save the cash to buy a SYE. will go in for an alignment next week and we should be good to go.
one thing i will be doing real soon is ordering longer brake lines. i couldn't bring myself to do the front brake lines the half assed way the directions say to do them.
big thanks to serious offroad for answering all my stupid questions.
everything came apart and back together pretty easy..
.
drilled and tapped for future bump stops.
.
RE track bar bracket:
.
did the zj upgrade while i was under there.

all the rear spring bolts came out pretty easy. those bolts are what i was most nervous about...
.
right side done.
.
finished... just have to tighten everything with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension and hook up the track bar..

i want to do a SYE and trailer hitch first . then maybe the diffs. not sure what to do there though. maybe a set of 4:10 gear and was thinking true track. then i saw the electric lockers. not really sure. need to figure out what is best for my use. and best money wise for me too. it won't get wheeled real hard. more a trail toy to play in the pines with. whatever i do to it needs to make it stronger and/or more reliable. its a family toy that needs to do longer road trips so i think it will stay the size it is. also will get sway bar disconnects. like to do a set of bumpers down the road. winch on the front, tire carrier on the rear and maybe a roof rack.
