I haven't put the wheels on yet. Im waiting to throw on some bigger tires.

If I had to do it again, Id pull the case out and work on it on a bench. Much easier to manipulate. Go slow and take your time. Watch as many vids as you can as the instructions aren't worth a crap.

Single best piece of advice for SYE install. The snap rings will cost you most of your time and frustration.

Cool, thanks! I've been debating whether or not to take the transfer case out. Seems to be out is the way to go.

I did my SYE with the transfer case still mounted as I thought it would be easier and it wasn't too bad at all. I'm glad I left it mounted.

Finally! New wheels and tires on after the lift. Had to install some 3* shims in the back to reduce the vibes. I for once am happy how it looks. Yes I have a 5th black rim I'm going to throw on there when I get another tire. Wheels are 16x8 . Tires are 265/75/16.

Few updates that are way over due...
Dana 30 Eaton E locker with G2 4.10 ring and pinions for front and back. Plus some ball joints and brakes that are due as well.

Mad jealous of the e locker and the tire carrier. Whatever happened to the Escape rack?

Thanks! The escape rack was way more work than it was worth.

The jeep is getting parked after the new year to start on removing the axles for the regear. I went to HF to snag a few tools to help. I'll add some pics of the goodies received over Christmas here soon.

Very nice build...going to follow for ideas for my rig! Which 3* shims did you go with to get your pinion angle right?

Thanks! They are pro comp shims. I'll have to find the box for the degree. I don't remember what degree they are.
