'98 Cherokee "Josiah" Build
Well everyone...HERE IT IS!! I have been waiting forever to do this
I am 17 years old, this is my '98 Jeep Cherokee. It has 130k on the odo and is ticking like new. It is my first car and i love it to death. I got it in August of '09, paid $3500 for it and that is quite the accomplishment for a poor high schooler. I received it from a mechanic, who kept it in very good condition. The only work i have done to it has been the changing of the coolant lines, a head gasket and replacing 02 censors and TPS censors which fixed a sketchy throttle problem it had for a month. Other than that...SOLID
Since August I have done PLENTY of mods to it, unfortunately with no pictures of the processes. However i do have a couple of pictures from when i first got it:
This is how it sat at first:
Specifications:
i6 4.0L engine (the best ever made)
d30 up front and chrys 825 in rear- both with stock gearing
4.5" Rough Country lift kit
BDS performance shocks
np231 with drop kit
AND 31" BFGoodrich KM mud-terrains
This is how Josiah sits right now:

Heres my 30 up front
Chrysler 825
I have plans to do a 44 or an 8.8 in the rear with 4.56's. As costs allow i will do this this upcoming summer.
here are some bad shot of under the hood. I'll get better ones eventually
When i got it, this engine was SPOTLESS. of course, no Jeep owner can keep it that way for long

After about the 5th week i had it i went ahead and put some JKS discos on there as my stock disconnects were completely cemented to the sway bar. these babies are nice, although i've lost pins to these things i dont know how many times.

welded some mounts to my rear for a high lift
they are just a hinge lookin joint that i had in the garage and a threaded piece stuck on there. pretty simple.
