Default 95 big bird

This is my 95 Cherokee I got for 700 dollars from my friend on August 8, 2011. I probably should of started this thread sooner. So far I have had a Rubicon Express 5.5" Long Arm lift installed. I hear that's a good lift. I then put a Monroe steering stabilizer. A pretty big tune up i guess too. Tonight I replaced the weather stripping on the driver side front and back doors.Iit's still got little tires, I kind of ran out of money with the lift. The engine's gotta be gunked up pretty good. I changed the oil after 100 miles and it looked like i drove 5000 miles on it. I enjoy working on this rig a lot though. pretty simple to work on.

heres a look at the control arm and the long curvy brake line ha... i love getting under her haha and lookin at how everything looks. i like how you dont have to jack her up to get under either. i'll probably be doing an engine flush and coolant flush soon. we'll see how they go

i think i need new tie rods but i don't know if i can get some made for my lift or not. if anyone knows i'd appreciate it. the second picture just shows my disconnects. pretty sweet, i probably wont get to take my jeep on any trails too soon. the front axle leaks out of the passenger side and im planning on replacing the bearing and junk in the front axle, then bigger tires. still not sure if i want 33's or 35's. i took the bumper off today and looked at how hard the trimming would be but i just dont know how much will actually need to be trimmed.

i couldn't agree with you more... looks like i'll have to fab up a pair of them myself i guess. nothing wrong with that though, seems a lot easier than the bumpers. as for the long arms, they are part of the rubicon express kit

did a coolant flush. it was nice to see a lot of dirt in the overflow tank. that drain plug works great, i like coolant all over my horn haha. cleaned the throttle body a bit too. how do jeeps get so dirty? im finding out this jeep wasnt taken care of very well. i need to take the valve cover off and find whats rattling in there.

i mostly got this jeep so i didnt have to borrow my parents truck to haul my bike around...

started cutting the fenders today. not sure how well it will turn out when its all done. had to move the horns up a bit but nothing more than unscrewing a bolt and screwing it back in. i should have it finished tomorrow night. i like how high the jeep looks without the bumper on and the fenders cut. i gotta make room for those 35's im gonna put on

here's my next little project for this saturday. clean out the mess under the valve cover... most of the rocker arms are pretty loose. gonna tighten them up a bit and see how she sounds. hopefully that's the pinging noise coming from the engine. the old gasket was shot, and the bolts were only finger tight. i could literally take them off with my fingers. my friend works at a shop and he said he'll sand blast my valve cover for me. it'll look pretty spiffy with a new paint job.
