93 Blue Socal- First XJ going to be long project
Hi All,
This is my first off road and first Jeep XJ build project. I am noob to the off road and after reading on the cf forum I decided to buy my first XJ and build my dream off road machine.
The vehicle is bone stock 1993 Cherokee Sport 4.0L auto with 250k miles on the odormeter. The engine still running strong but some oil leaks here and there and I will fix it later.
Here is a stock looks
Wheels painted black
CB radio installed
Rusty's tank skid
Frame stiffener 2x2 angle with 3/16 thickness
Rock sliders 1.5x3 tube with 3/16 thickness

Rear bumper, front bumper, roof rack, differentials cover, rear box light, OBA, rear cargo storage, lifted .... this is going to be a long project for me and money a little tight too so let see.
Also exhaust manifold is cracked too so it will be replaced soon.

I think your rock sliders are my favorite I have seen. I really like how you have them sticking out from the door. Gives more protection, and if you slide into a rock, you won't hit yer door. Good work again.

I like the mounting position of your CB.. very interesting.
As far as the rest of the build definately 2 thumbs up!! Nice Work. Cant wait to see what else you have planned for this.

It seems like reverse thinking mounting the gas cans covering the entire window when most peoples biggest complaint is not being able to see with the tire alone.
Im assuming they are there in case of a rear ender?
Anyways..besides that..this build is a winner..as are you. Excellent fab work.
