First is the muddying trip, it did awesome. Didn't even start to get stuck
Skid performed well running over bushes and things
Valve cover gasket
Then parts and such
Redid vacuum hoses
Alternator change, can't beat a lifetime warranty

I need help guys.
Iv noticed a clank under my jeep. It ONLY happens the last couple mph of braking and right as I hit the gas. Also it only happens 50% of the time. I checked the rear driveshaft and the ujoints are fine and I cannot turn the shaft AT ALL with my hand, however, there is a nick in the casing where the shaft meets the tcase(pic below). I checked the front driveshaft and I can turn that sucker quite abut with my hand and the same noise I here when driving it makes when it stops turning. It makes a wier noise in the diff and the tcase but the ujoints look fine. I'm going to take the front drive shaft off today and see if it still clunks. Any input is appreciated! Thanks

Alright guys. It is not my front drive shaft. Does the crossmember hold up the tranny and tcase?? Cause I was in bolting the crossmember and when half of it got unbolted the tranny and tcase fell! I had no idea, I thought that there where mounts for the transmission. Was I wrong? I also found the source of my clunking. I shook the rear drive shaft violently and heard the exact same click coming from the transfer case/ tranny area. I also ripped out my speedo cable anyone know how to fix it?

Well I did my research and found out the crossmember does support the tcase, lesson learned haha im glad nothing bad happened. Living and learning new things about Cherokees everyday and that's what it's all about! I still don't know whats causing the clank, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Not necessarily in 4wd but about 50% of the time it just makes a little clunk while accelerating or braking. Sometimes turning. But is my tcase supposed to wiggle some if I shake it? Cause I can move my rear drive shaft back and forth with all my strength and it moves the tcase. And sometimes when I do that I hear the clanking. But in the car it sounds like its in the rear.. idk its weird, iv googled it untill I was blue in the face and checked ujoints and all. Is there anyway the ujoints can be broken or worn out and look fine? Thanks guys. I'm going to an off road park Sunday and would really like to figure out what's going on
