Also just read thru your whole build great job and thanks for all the detail. What exhaust and cat did you go with? I'm currently in the market due to a rattle in my cat. Also never seen those sliders seems like a good option for my crappy shackle angle, are they ok on a DD?

I got the Cat and Muffler off ebay. The muffler is from PerformanceCurve which is where I bought my last muffler from. The Cat is just some generic ebay listing that fit the dimensions i wanted. I went with a 2.50" Cat and Muffler with the stock size (2.25") front and tail pipe. Sounds great to me! The sliders offer the perfect ride on road since it puts the leaf spring at it's most stable position.

So took the Jeep out to some local trails down here. Land of Eastern Shore Jeep Association. Lots of mud from the snow and rain recently, it's all wood trails so there's always mud anyway. Was a lot of fun and Jeep did great. Lots of unibody sounds so really looking forward to getting the stiffeners on once it warms up outside. Got stuck and had to be yanked for the first time, everyone with smaller then MT 35s locked was getting stuck in this rut. Was a lot of fun and no damages I can see so far. I'll need to wash it to check everything out but really happy with the way it performed. After playing with their flex obstacles I can finally see where my rear almost maxes out, slider boxes will add a lot more flex so i'm thinking about pulling the trigger soon.

These logs are about 2 1/2' tall so not bad. Front wasn't even close to maxing out.

I tried to contact CreepyFab for a bumper but can get no response. Do you know if he is still producing bumpers? Thanks

I'm not sure. It's been a few years since I bought mine. I think I heard something about him buying a FJ and doing work on them. I love the bumper so if not that sucks.

That's cool... I've had a dual diaphragm booster out of a '96 sitting in my garage for a little over a year now.... haven't got around to putting it in yet

Had a local club holiday party to attend so I went to wash the jeep off from last week. Made the mistake of lightly washing the engine bay and ten minutes from home at a red light one of the trans connectors decided not to work anymore and left me in 1st gear as I limped home. After fixing that I drove to the party fine. Go to leave hours later and my battery is dead. Don't believe I left anything on but it started right up with a jump and was reading fine and no issues leaving. I'll have to see if it'll start tomorrow. On a great note I won a set of Warn w650D driving lights with wireless remote switch. So looking forward to switching my old PIAAs out soon.

Thanks! Yours doesn't look half bad either.

Picture from the party. Got connectors to just run the new lights off my current wiring. Don't feel like rewiring to a wireless remote harness.

Yeah. Wireless remote harness.... I dunno... I guess it may have its purpose but... just seems kinda gimmicky to me.

The way I look at it is its a complete wire harness with remote. I can wire it to anything not just lights or to my Jeep. I'll keep it and wire something to it. Don't need anything complicated for accessory lights.
