I got mine used. The guy basically gave me an exploded diagram with some part numbers. The outer stubs are chromoly and the hubs are an upgraded version of those offered in the Ranger.

Right on man. I printed the install instructions from there webpage. Came with parts numbers but most of them seem to be propriety. The only parts numbers that are available from a local parts store are the wheel bearings and races. You going to run anything bigger then a 33 on yours?

I'm going to be running 35's. A lot of the Wrangler guys run them with this size tire with no issues and I'm more of a technical wheeler than a gas stomper. I figure either it'll work or it won't, but at least it's off the shelf in my basement where it's resided for a few years.
Here are a couple of useful numbers if you don't already have them:
Wheel studs - 610-279 (Dorman)
Grease seal - 471272 (Timken)
You can run Wrangler (1990+) cast rotors with the center machined out as well. I'll have to find the exact specs and I'll edit with the info.
Edit 1 - "Rotor pilot hole must be machined to a diameter of 3.575" +/- .015" to fit the wheel hub."
Edit 2 - BTW, if you install the grease seal flush, it'll seize the bearing. I found this out the hard way. You want it left out just a smidge.

If your going to swap in a 3.4. You should try to find a 700r4 out of a blazer, s10 or s15. And they are neutrally balanced so no fancy flex plates And then you can upgrade your transfer case to a c231 or c233. Transfer case will have to be 95 and older to work! The JB conversions makes a new front out put shaft for the TC.

I'm happy with my TF and I already built a beefed up a 231J case that I'm running. Thanks for the input though!

I keep wanting to go to the Crawl. I'm hoping I can make it out this year.
I'm sure you could find an open seat if you come out. I might have an open seat this year if my buddy brings his XJ this year.
