Default 1978 cherokee chief full size build

Alright everyone I am building a full size it has the amc 360 , quadratrac, 4 inch skyjacker (i think , could be 6in ) with 36 inch swampers.
The only things that work on the instrument panel are my speedo and battery. I have found replacement oil pressure fuel and temp gauges. Should I replace with the factory gauges or add an after market cluster on the dash with aftermarket gauges? Wich would be simpler to install. Also if I go with factory replacements should I replace the "censors" (broad term)?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I picked it up for a grand motor is strong tranny was rebuilt about 6 months ago . I need to rebuild the carb . It makes me nervous driving without temp and oil pressure gauges.

I put a Aftermarket water temp gauge on every car wither the stock one "works" or not. I've had gauges that seem to work but are completely inaccurate so I don't risk it.

YOU can pick up a full cluster for cheap .. Try IFSJA.org. That is where I got all of the parts for my FSJs.. I love it.. Makes me miss my Waggys and J-10..
