DieselD, was there a difference in temps on your return trip with the relocated cooler?

I have no way of telling actual temperatures, BUT the temperature spike on my gauge only happened one time on the way home. That was more than likely my fault. I was passing someone on a pretty steep incline. I also wasn't running the heat to keep it cooler.

All in all waaaaay smoother than the way down there. Made great time too, made it home in 13.5 hrs.

I will probably add a bigger, better cooler next summer, might even skip the regulator in the rad and run temp gauges.
