I'm the guy who acquired 87lowcog35s mj. It already paid for itself on a run to the dump. The XJ was not a good trash hauling rig, and summer only compounded that problem. And the lighting issue came back. This time the front doesn't want to play nice. Has signals and headlights, but no markers. Started on right side up front and then progressed to all front markers. Thought I had a bad bulb. Wiggled it while removing and I had light, if only for a minute. Guess I'll pull the header panel and trace wires.

I want to say there are wires behind the passenger headlight that had butt connectors on them, but I might be thinking of aylas truck.. cant hurt to shine a flashlight around back there and see if there is anything obvious going on. are all of the rear lights working correctly?
Once that gets solved, I plan on welding the inner fenders back to the bed sides, after cleaning the rust on the left. Nothing too crazy. Then pull bed and media blast and paint frame. Already looks better after a good wash.

Hey everyone. Checking back in after a long time.
I still haven't picked up an XJ but it shouldn't be too much longer. Life happens and takes us in different directions but now that I'm back on track I am restarting my search.
Looks like I have a lot to read since I was here last.
