I really like the tube extensions that protect the cut and fold area. I was thinking about having a quarter inch plate added to mine to do basically the same thing. Even though the cut and fold increased the clearance I have still come off of rocks and landed on it. Nice looking bumper. Are you bolting it in place using the gas tank skid plate mounting bolts?

Bolts, 4 bolts in the frame on each side. Still need to do some plating and gussets. Thanks!

Just gotta add the plating under the brake lights and be done. Minus doing the hitch. Not too shabby for my first build. I'm happy!

Dude, that turned out awesome. If you decide to Wanna build one for others, let me know. I'd love to have one with a hitch!

Hey yall. I don't have a Jeep yet but now that my Cobra sold I'm starting to look toward my next project and have taken a liking to the XJ. I'm down in Chesapeake, VA. Just saying hey.

Thanks dude. I'm happy with it. Lots of things I would do differently if I did it over, but I'm happy with building it on a concrete floor and gravel driveway. Haha
