As soon as I get all the parts together, probably mid next month if I play my cards right...just have to get it ordered and search the Junkyards.
Have you been out to the Pick N Pull by VA Beach? That seems to be the only PNP around, I'm up in Hampton but always willing to make the drive if I have an excuse to hit the beach...
That's the only PnP here. There are a few other yards, but it's a decent drive. I try to hit it as often as I can when they have any XJ's there. Let me know what you need. If I can I'll keep an eye out.

Looking to do some serious work to the new 2-Door XJ. If anyone is interested in helping out with a Chop Top and a lift install around the end of May/early June, or at least wants to drink and watch. It'll be happening in a neighborhood near you.

*Cough* *Cough* anyone have a welder? Tube Bender? lol

I know someone who has both and done what you are doing.

Thats awesome.... Joe touched so many ppl. He was always willing to lend a hand our give advice. I loved wheeling with him... He had a way of spotting that made hard lines easy, and then he would go up that line unspotted.

I'm looking for a Driver side knuckle for a Dana 30. If you have a old axle or a spare knuckle let me know. The brake caliber bolt is stripped on mine so I need a new one and I will buy if need be. Text me at 757-462-9047 and ask for Joe

Plan...
4.5'' RE Springs
XJ/XJ Bastard
Relocation Shackles
SYE Kit
Front Drive Shaft

That's the basics for the lift, so really finding the FDS at a PNP and ordering the SYE are the big ones, then shocks, and then I'll have the basics together for the lift. Since I have a 96 donor for the leafs.

One thing I haven't figured out yet is the brake line situation, I know I need extended brake lines such as the YJ's...but there is also the option of relocation brakets? I can fab those up no problem can't I?

At 4.5" my brake lines were awfully tight. I'd recoend yj front lines and a Dakota rear line. You'll have more than enough length and be out not too much money.

My poor boy method is to use 6" brake line extensions and a brake coupling. UNder 12 bucks for the setup and you get to keep your stock lines. Same goes for the rear. MInd you this is the ultra poor boy ghetto fab way of doing it. It is only meant at a temporary thing.

You would do it that way, Pat. Hey, it works though, and that's what matters.

I did the YJ and Dakota set up as well. Works beautifully.
