Default Outer Banks Trails?

I have lived here on the Outer Banks most of my life but just recently got the Jeep and became curious about off road. Does anyone in the area know of any legal open trails? I am not looking for anything super tough just anything off road is fine by me.

I don't want to drive around on someones property or anything like that. I am talking about Legal 4wd trails.

Thanks!

if you just head north in corolla you can drive on the sand all day. everything up there is 4x4 at a certain point.. the pavement just turns to sand. and in the off season you can drive down practically all the way to hatteras on the sand. i havent been there in a while, gotta head back down there soon.

I guess I should have been more specific lol. I know I can drive on the beach in places. I was looking for some other places that were not driving out on the beach.

Thanks though!

Btw I just got stuck in the sand early this morning. I got unstuck but man it was freaky.
