need some help in Chapel hill NC

OK, couple of things that will make it easier for any of us to help out, whether in person or on here:
-- Tell us more about this "pre-existing damage": what happened? what was replaced or repaired?
-- What did you change out on the suspension?
-- Can you close the hood at all?
-- What exactly is leaning? The whole Jeep or just the hood? If the whole Jeep, in which direction is it leaning?

Good morning katuah!
The pre existing damage is the front drivers side, looks like someone smacked it into a tree. The hood was aligned and it drove straight so didn't worry on it.
I swapped out the steering kit with the crown heavy duty one, that's when this started. I have checked all my links and all are tight, it also seems to be locking on the right side when attempting to drive.
The hood closes but there is a big gap when I do so
The lean is to the right and am wits end figuring it out. I believe tis the whole jeep.

Brakes sticking possibly caliper and right now verra rough has a wobble in the back, may be just tires not risking it. I think its all interconnected, but I cant see how hence why asking for aid.

You only changed a "steering kit"???? Like this?: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/hd...wn-kit-845258/
Did you verify the track bar length is correct?
If this were an XJ I would be thinking maybe the track bar is too long, which I think could force the body into a bit of a lean, but pushing the hood up? That seems more extreme. Perhaps cracked unibody frame rails, welded back to get it sold and then the welds gave out when the stress of a new tie rod loaded them with stress?
This may need to be a question to the ZJ subforums, I only know XJs so I'm not even 100% sure the ZJs are set up with the unibody construction like XJs.
Could you take some photos of 3 areas:
-- where the track bar mounts to the frame,
-- where the steering box mounts to the frame, and
-- looking directly at the entire steering assembly from right in front of the vehicle, camera level with the tie rod?

With the damage seen to the driver fender and that the hood is higher on the driver side, my first check would be to see if the hood hinge is damaged.

@ Katuah,
That post is exactly what was don and the measurements are correct. I can try to get the photos tomorrow or later today if rain lets up. The ZJ's are also a unibody construction like the XJ.
@AdamK It may be just the hinge, need to see if can get one shipped, then again will need help realigning the hood lol!

They don't appear to be and the track bar is the correct length. This is part of why tis driving me nuts and asking for physical eyes on the situation.

Second pic...Lower control arm does not look correct. Looks like arm is bent or bushing has slid inside arm to one side.
Second to last pic...The track bar mount has been drilled for track bar relocation. Someone has drilled this hole because it was lifted at one point. Or....it's currently lifted and the lower track bar bolt needs to pass through this hole instead of the factory one.
Unfortunately I won't have a free weekend to drive up until July to see it in person or else I would sooner.

Good morning AdamK,
I installed the bar exactly as old one was installed. I am the 3rd owner of this ZJ, the first was to be be polite, a babboon with a hammer and have been fixing his errors, the second never really drove it so was able to purchase for 800.00 and he did almost no maintenance to it. I will check for the rubber stops and post images. I REALLY need to get this one going as job is taking me further out and my GF wants her car back. Plus I would relly like to meet some of the other jeep people of the area! :-)
