Well be prepared to do a lot of waiting on the trails. If this jamboree is gonna be like the past, there will be a lot of people on the trails

You will have a blast! I have only been once and this weekend is the first time I've had enough time off to make another trip. This will only be the second chance I've had to wheel all year! So I super excited about going this weekend

Definitely had a blast. I'm on a 2" BB with 30/9.5 tires and I had a few slams on the rocks but I did quiet a bit with my little xj. Want to have 31s by the next time I go. Was pretty awesome though. all the jeeps at the jamboree made it like a (car show/wheeling) trip was awesome to see all the rigs together. Also held a record for the most waves in a day ahaha.

You'd be shocked where a stock (or close to stock) open/open XJ can take you. Buddy of mine took his son's stock 98 upcountry up the front of Daniel at the Spring Jamboree this year

Amazing thing is when I created this thread back in 08 it was one of the first threads in the section to exist...

People keep joining and NC keeps growing which is great

I recently noticed that you created this thread in 08. Long time forum member, much respect.
It is amazing, the difference of our local terrain. Here we are just a sandbar, not a rock within 100 miles.
Before the bridge was built in 1963, had to take a ferry.

Been a while since I've been on the forum, but I'm in North Raleigh.
