Default Driving on the New jersy shore

I'm planning on going to go to the shore this summer and i was wondering what you need to be able to drive on the beach...and what beaches you can drive.

sandy hook you can, but you just have to check about when you can. you might just be able to off season. not sure.

Okay thanks. is there any thing you need to have to get on it like shovels, fire extinguishers etc..

In Brigantine you might be able to drive on the beach in Summer. I'm sure you can't in Atlantic City. The Casinos have killed all that, so the same pretty much goes for Ventnor & Margate City.

island beach state park you can drive on the beach. you need to purchase a pass tho, and you need to have a fishing pole with you. Permits are issued to 4-wheel drive vehicle owners for fishing purposes only. Carrying the basic equipment listed is required whenever the MSFV in on the beach.
1) Fishing equipment and bait and tackle for each person over 12 years of age;
2) Tire gauge;
3) Spare tire;
4) Workable jack and board/support for jack in sand (3/4 in. x 12 x 12 in. plywood square minimum size)
5) Tow chain or ****** line;
6) Shovel;
7) Flashlight;
8) Fire extinguisher;
9) Auto first aid kit;
10) Litter/trash bag;
11) Minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel.
