Rear is in good shape, some scratches from what looks like loading/unloading, but they don't bother me. The dented in/scratched driver side front bumper cap, bent lower bumper, and cut out tow hook hole does bother me.

Welp, soon I hope. Gotta work some OT to get some extra coin since the 25th is rapidly approaching and I have done zero shopping.

First on the list is ball joints. They pop every time I turn left or right. Definitely going out. Really not trying to have death wobble. Haha.

Welp, spent part of the day fixing some stuff that was annoying me on the Jeep.

Went to the local yard, found a chili pepper red like mine!

The front bumper was trashed I will be back for the passenger doors (Mine have some damage from who knows what near the windows & the rub strips are messed up) and the fender flares. Mine are pretty rock chipped near the bottom and these are near perfect. Ended up taking the 12v power source and radio plugs out of it with a good length of wire to fix this mess as you've seen before:

Final product:

I love the closed end connectors because there is no stress on the wires like a butt connector. That, and you only have to crimp once!

Got the dual 12v source now. I don't smoke, or have a use for the lighter. I do realize the cig plug works the same, just an aesthetics thing I guess.

So while doing that, I found this attached to the fog light wiring:

Not pictured is the jumped fuses for a power source for the fog switch.

I wish I could find the person that did this and strangle them.

So after all that was done, I decided I would fix some other stuff that was bothering me. The passenger rear door window switch was not working, and the door would lock, but not unlock by using the switch at the front door. Turns out, the window switch plug was never attached, so that fixed that. I took the linkage for the locks and bent it slightly, and now they work fine.

Next thing, gauge cluster. My cluster was going wacky while driving, the needles would die, and the airbag light would come on. If I beeped the horn, they would come back on. After searching on here, I found that there is a harness through Chrysler that you could buy, or just clean the connectors and hope for the best. I went with the cleaning option. Just looked them over, wiped them down, and re-installed. Drove to work 35 minutes today and it hasn't done it yet. Fingers crossed for that.

Last thing, fix the passenger front speaker that didn't work. That was really annoying me. Again, after reading, looks like the speaker wires like to break at the door. No big deal, right? Wrong. Our little buddy decided to cut the OEM speaker wire DIRECTLY at the plug, then ran his own wiring for his head unit that he installed like pictured above. Total hack job. I tested the speaker wire that he ran, thinking that's what was hooked up. Nope. Nothing. So I stripped the OEM wires, tested them on the speakers. Success! Had to Jerry rig them for now with some female spade connectors, but they work until I can get a speaker plug.

Sorry for long post, I am bored at work. Hopefully you're bored too and I gave you something to read.

Well, some days it's boring, some days it's busy. Hahah.

I still have yet to catch Brent, I missed him Sunday. Next time I see him I'll talk ducks!
