I've bent my chromoly steering..... And seen many bent Dom..... I agree with the no sch40.... But I think hrew could be an acceptable alternative, assuming you go thicker. (See above post)

If he's gonna play on the rocks, DOM/chromoly tubes is the way to go.
If he's just gonna hit the mud (if u do, we are gonna look down on you. Lol) or just drive on the street/mall crawl. I would concede that HREW tubes may be ok.

the difference is that using the Dom and chromoly tubes is that they can be bent back. HREW can't and wouldn't be very safe to do so, considering its seam welded.

I have a rubber bushing to use, figured might as well...
I also don't have kids yet, trying to keep it that way for a little yet.
I like rock, not a big fan of mud..
So I now see and agree why you say DOM, no welded seam. Thank you.
SO, If I go with 1/4 wall DOM 1" ID, 3/4" heim (one or both ends), that should be sufficient for track bar?

Battery died last night in Philly while at the Flyers game... Thing was acting so weird so I had to give 'ol Jake an SOS call. Haha. Thank Jesus for 24H Walmarts.

Whenever there was a surge of needed power (IE fan kicking on/turning on KC lights) it would shut off, and there would be a clicking from under the dash like a turn signal, and the courtesy lights on the floor would flash.
New battery solved it. I knew it was getting old and tired, especially on cold days. Should have known better.
