whenever there are ducks here, i am in pursuit of them!

Let me know when the birds get thick down there, i have 6 dozen or so diver dekes and half of them are mixed hen/drake buffleheads and we could setup some kind of massive 2 boat spread if you would be game

That would be ridiculous! That's a hell of a lot of decoys. Haha. We just strung up 4 boxes of Bluebills & some Cans for a long line setup on Sunday. I will have to say something to them to see if we can set something up. I will be up your way in Conoy tomorrow to scout some flooded woodland to see what I can find! Having no boat kinda sucks lol.

haha yeah I have been accumulating decoys for my twelfth legal season now
on top of that my hunting partner and I have another 5 doz or so puddlers and about 10doz FB geese and then way too many FB mallards and black ducks and shells and sils and i think we have a problem...

Strangely enough, we both enjoy the hunt more than the killing aspect, makes it tough to find other down to earth guys to hunt with:/

anyways, heres my river rig, minus the blind and other accessories!

LOL

This is my first year hunting waterfowl. Went out for geese on opening day and I am hooked. Still have yet to get my first duck I am slowly accumulating gear, I'm finding out quick that it's not exactly a cheap hobby. Hahah.

Your boat is awesome, I kinda figured based off your username you had a War Eagle

ha, tens of thousands of dollars later and i still budget and have to account for "duck expenses"...

This whole new wave of waterfowlers is enough to make me pull my hair out though! Had some guys try to wade across a large, swift, deep creek today...right near us. We had to confirm that they needed to leave and it was irresponsible of them to have no means of retrieval...glad they didnt slice our tires, but irresponsibility gives the rest of us a black eye. It sucks how a few bad eggs ruin it for everyone else, hopefully the cold will scare them all off sooner than later

I would call that more stupidity than irresponsibility Hey, maybe you saved one of their lives. I would never do something that stupid, haha. However; I do wear my waders in the boat because I am too cheap to buy a new set of bibs. I guess that's why they make wader belts.

Congrats!! Love the retrieve pic. I will definitely say something to Brent and the crew. I will see them Sunday, maybe we can set something up soon.
