So for now, I'm lightly restoring the jeep to a semi-stock condition . I have changed all fluids with the exception of the axels. We cleaned the interior. I removed the carpet and bedliner'ed the floor. Very little rust was found. installed new tires. replaced transmission filter screen (I wish I had left this alone). replaced the valve cover gasket. fixed the heat valve. replaced interior lights with LED's. replaced the headliner and replaced the rear leaf springs. She is coming along. I'm replacing the front springs tomorrow. That should be it for a while.

If anyone is looking for XJ parts there is a guy on Craigslist in Bishopville Maryland parting out a 96. Doesnt have seat and I bought the door handles, speedo, and intake cover.
BTW Bishopville is right outside of Ocean City in Worcester County.
