I s9ld the jeep to aaron and have had it since I was 17, bought it with 102k miles and RELIGIOUSLY took care of it. It was factory maintained by waterfront jeep here in Morgantown before and an old lady owned it. What we are seeing here is, I am pretty sure, and attempt by my neighbor to sabotage the jeep over a parking issue at my old place of residence. It died on me at sonic in the drive through with 144k on it. I was done with it, didn't know much about renix at the time and wanted something a little newer. I had the money, so I just bought my 96 that I have now, and lifted it, seeing as I was "going to get to it one day". I would have never sold it if it wasnt Aaron buying it, not even to my brothers lol. I am trying to find that old pos neighbor none the less. I about **** when he sent me the picture. Sorry for the background story.

It's been Interesting ripping into it. The thermostat housing had no thermostat in it. And the cooling system although closed, still have the retarded valve thing they put on 92-96 xjs.

But what it comes down to, the jeep is rust free, and besides the issues I've run into is completely untouched. Never been lifted, and the wiring hasn't been hacked into anywhere.

I mean it's a renix that sat for a few years, I knew what I was getting Into lol.

Congrats.

I installed 784 injectors today and made Programbo come to my house because no matter what I did, they leaked like crazy. He replaced all of the O rings and reinstalled them. Now everything is good as new. Besides the clips that I broke on the electrical connectors, but I fixed that with zip ties.

I hate having to check the fluids on my cat. It makes such a fuss.

Update. Got the engine block and heater core flushed out, wasn't that bad. Got it fully upgraded to open cooling. Only running the mechanical fan and it runs 210 just fine.

The battery cables are junk, really only work in a certain position. But that's an easy fix. The ballast resistor went out randomly but I still have Barney's to put in it.

But it runs and drives great. I'm glad to know I still got it.

I plan to swap the front clip to a newer style. Paint it rustolelm red. And get it all caught up on maintenance and fix the little things it needs. Then I just want to enjoy it before I even think about lifting it.

Zj needs some love after this.
Tune up
Oil change
Header
All u joints and hubs
Update the rear pads and rotors.

But with that I'm going to bed.

Cutting it close there. Are they gonna fix the matching dimples in the D-pillars?

Just picked up a Warn Rear bumper for my Jeep. Brand new. Guy bought it for his 99 and when it didn't fit he returned it to the dealer. The dealer couldn't get rid of it so they sold it for a hell of a deal.

Its setup for the tire carrier part which is another $400. Even if I buy the carrier I still got a great deal.
