I got a nice surprise yesterday, I was sitting in the hatch area and happen to look up at my speaker bar. I noticed something looked funny about the speakers so I grabbed a screwdriver and popped the cover off. The PO had 2-way pioneer's installed at some point. I always thought they were stock, though it does explain why they rear speakers are way louder then the stock front speakers.

I think i need a new head unit for the jeep. Keeps randomly cutting out/restarting.

What's everyone use/recommend? I have a JVC right now and it's been great.

My requirements are:
Bluetooth
Front Aux RCA input
USB input would be a plus as well
No CD player needed
Single-DIN
Marine type preferably

So basically looking for a "Digital Media Receiver"

Maybe:

I believe I have a Sony that has USB input, aux input, satellite radio, but (and I'm mad about this) no Bluetooth.

I've been using Kenwood exclusively for about 5 years. I don't know if it's the best value or the best on paper, but I really like the interface and the menu navigation.

As for Bluetooth, I completely agree it's necessary.

Yea, trying to find an aftermarket Bluetooth aux adapter for the headunig means digging.through the bowels of china and not knowing if something is good or not. That's my issue now. I want to hook to my units aux input via Bluetooth for phone calls, music and navigation so I don't have to always switch back and forth

Jake had one on his xj wagoneer and used to use it all the time for both winching people out and running down small trees.

I'm a fan of the Kenwoods as well. I really like mine and it works great. I needed a new one when I got the 5 channel amp so I could have the RCA outputs on the back. It has all your requirements. I'll get the model number for you when I get home.
