yea i'd heard of them exploding. The little plastic nipple thing breaks off and grenades the rotor assembly. Fun stuff - glad you figured it out without much trouble

situation unchanged so far. Slips occasionally (maybe 2-3 times a week) for a second or 2, then back to normal

Not sure what I would do with it yet. But it would be getting historic tags.

Pulled trans bolts and motor mount nuts at Ray's yesterday, and got those installed. Drilled out the broken exhaust bolt at the back of the head.

Ready to start installing accessories, but not finished with the trans quite yet
