Short wheelbase is fun as hell in the mud.
5 spd means pay attention to what you're doing with a short wheelbase in the mud
And, I need to find a way to either relocate the ign. coil, or make it repel water.
Oh, and a snorkel would probably be a good idea too.
Avoid deep water ?

Got mechanical temp gauge installed today. Never ran above 203 deg on it at same time factory one ran close to red. At first gauges ran pretty close, the warmer it got the more temps differed. So either gauge or wiring going out. Sensors been changed twice b4 so dont think both were faulty.

So I have no clue what's holding my trans in at this point, it's literally floating, all the wires are off, trans cooler lines are off, and the bell housing is 1/2" away from the block. And the torque converter is unbolted

Renix gauges and senders are known to have faulty readings...have you done a recent ground refresh?

silicone your cap to the dizzy. Dielectric grease in plug boots. As for the coil you could relocate it. And then snorkel

Actually, the dizzy stayed nice and dry, as did the plug wires, boots, and terminals. It was the half moon clip on the coil that was getting wet. The 12v, tach, and ground wires.
