You could go with a 1 ton OTK setup, but id try to find out where the clearance issue came from first.

this is when it happened, I wasn't even flexed out. I honestly think the tie rod maxed out and snapped at the threads.

What track bar do you have?
And flexing always puts tension on all suspension and steering components...
Or just wasn't tighten well enough...
Just enough play can cause the tension to rip the threads or snap the tie rod...

I have a rustys track bar that came with the lift, I took it apart and I think the tie rod had a crack in it previously.

Some guys ride and die for rustys products...
