Good morning guys. I have a new incentive to finish my Mj, that is to humiliate, disgrace and wipe the smirks off of the JK owners faces. Trailered the Mj to the club meet to show a few all that's been done. Was then "attacked" by a few of the newer members over a few things. IE: I'm not putting LED, HID or halo headlights in, m not going to put a LED light bar across my windshield, I have two old school KC lights in front instead of LEDs, there's no chrome on my rig, my rims are only 15's instead of 17"+, I'm running Cooper tires instead of TOYO's, my lift is a mix instead of complete kit. The number one thing that got me, was shouting out, "You have NO business being in a Jeep Club as they're for Wranglers like ours and people want to see accessories!, YOU belong in a classic junk car club by cause AMC can't compete with JKs!"
After over 10 minutes of this abuse and countless club members telling them to leave, I said, its ok, I tell you guys what. Let me reassemble and install my engine and you and I will have a little race. My "obsolete" AMC AWD 4cyl stroker vs your 4wd minivans. Not one wants to run.

Other than the fact that I have raced cars and trucks on dirt. Here's a few specs/stats on why its also an unfair vehicular advantage for me.

3.8L EGH V-6 215hp/245tq @ 5K RPMs for a curb weight of 4200lbs. That's 19.53lbs per HP and 17.14lbs per 1ft lb TQ.

2.9L AMC I-4 197hp/210tq @ 4500 RPMs for a curb weight of 3K lbs. That's 15.22lbs per HP and 14.28lbs per 1ft lb TQ.

Now he may have slightly more TQ and HP than me, but his rig is heavier by 4lbs per HP and 3lbs per TQ. In racing, weight is everything. Add that on top of the EGV engine having to rev high to make its power compared to an inline which makes it at a lower RPM.

Not worried anymore, just going to enjoy making a complete *** out of him and his rig. Out in Loxahatchee, only a few are crazy enough to hit 70+ on that road, I'm one. Lmao.

That sucks but just for the record, you're supposed to come to a complete stop before going into 4LO or shifting out of 4LO.

I can be in park or neutral with the trans, at a dead stop and it won't go unless I unload it

and by unload it I mean (at a dead stop) go from drive to reverse, then back to neutral on the trans and it will fall in normally
