Well, as I type this, it's 1:08 am.

Welp...just got back from the hump.
Learned a few things about the YJ.
Short wheelbase is fun as hell in the mud.
5 spd means pay attention to what you're doing with a short wheelbase in the mud
And, I need to find a way to either relocate the ign. coil, or make it repel water.
Oh, and a snorkel would probably be a good idea too.

That's a good idea. I was also thinking about a shroud for it. The fan blows water back and soaks the electric terminals for the coil. I kept having to dry it off. It was weird though, the water I was in wasn't very deep, barely the middle of the tires. I'll try the grease first though.
