Take my Buddy's Mj I was driving last Wednesday. It runs and drives beautiful. Truck is mint just it rolled off the showroom floor. But he wants me to yank the whole drivetrains and axles and swap a LS1, 4L60E, Atlas II transfer case and D60's. Thinks it can be done show quality for 3.5-4K. LMMFAO!, told him it will take at least 6-8K because the Engine will set him back 2600 (he wants NEW everything, not used or junkyard) Plus all adapters and wiring for another 2500. A D60 can be had for about 1.5K apiece as well. Then he wants to put a 8.5" Long arm lift kit with 35x12.50's.
I honestly don't feel right about ruining a perfectly mint truck. Tried to tell him use the 86 rolling chassis I have as its rust free and no drivetrains and keep his as a classic/restored.
Some won't listen. Especially when they come from the "big money" JK mini-van crowd.

Cheap and Quality can't be used in the same sentence in the autosport industry.

I got a driveshaft! Interesting turnout though, get everything filled with fluids, go run around to test it and the speedo doesn't work and I think it's in limp mode(I only have second gear)

Well finally took out the Dana 30 to rebuild and swap into the Cherokee to match gears and throw in the Cherokee's Dana 30 into the Comanche. Until I can regear to 4.88s...
Quick rant,.,,
My hood release cable broke a few weeks back and ordered a Dorman one..,
I finally got a chance to install it today and 1st attempt to release the hood...IT BROKE!!!!
So got to get a replacement one..,
Also I finally got a new emission control duct hose from gates part# 28095 and..,,it doesn't fit!!!! And it's soooo flimsy...the original one was worn but it'll work better than that one...
What a day!!!! But I'm hoping to swap axles by next weekend if the weather permits!!!
Oh and 2 good straight blows with my 3pound hammer and the upper control arm bushings popped right out..,
Just gotta rent the ball joint press this weekend and 1pce axle shaft upgrade with the Lokka locker then it's time to install into the Cherokee...
