BTW, don't listen to the "high-ballers" on CC. The AMC 20 is as tough as it gets without going to a D60. Which I come across all the time. Hell, I can get a set of FSJ D44/D60 axles right now from my neighbor if I wanted. The weakest D44 or AMC20 I have ever seen was the D44 military Cj or the Cj AMC20. And that was due to the two piece shaft. Upgrade those shafts and they were great. Like I said a while back, what you have now is the toughest axle they make and way harder to find than the D44. So take care of it.

Oh and I'm not trying to replace the amc 20....just would like a spare GOOD AXLE....hell if I came across another amc 20 I'll pick it up as well

Also might have our 86 Mj rolling chassis sold. Told him we're keeping its D44 and stuffing a D35 we have in it first.

Damn guys, tomorrows job is gonna be fun. I'm doing inspections for Federal Mogul Corporation (Fel-Pro, Speed-Pro, Wagner, National, Champion, Moog, etc...) They're building a manufacturing/distribution center down here in Ft Lauderdale.

You should take note of a few things I typed if you want to build yours. Either that or I can blueprint/design you a stroked 3.4L..
