South Florida Dysfunctional 4x4's
95 xj. Auto 2wd 4.0
Its got a few issues, biggest one is the cold start. Sometimes takes a solid minute of cranking. I made a thread on the tech forum.
Other things like the fuel tank getting pressurized, sticky caliper, a grinding sound in the rear right when making right hand turns, stuff like that. All I really need help with is the cold start issue.
And also just do a once over of my suspension. Im a former bmw mechanic but don't know jack about these cars

At least you're willing to admit your lack of knowledge. Fuel pressure within spec? Getting a string spark? How about cleaning injectors? Sensors on TB been replaced or cleaned?

Bad/loose connection issue. Possible ignition switch or sticking relays .

Good morning fellas
Sergek...
It seems like you have loose connections either at the battery posts or a ground somewhere...
It's just weird that the battery light doesn't even show up and your still cranking

I know. Its completely counter intuitive. You would think the battery light would be on the whole time. But as soon as it pops on, the car comes to life.

Mornin' all.
Now that I've got my tires installed, and my schedule has changed, I feel like getting my jeep dirty. The closest I've been to off-road since I went to Krome with 88 and his dad, is my front yard. Anybody up to meet on Friday or Saturday?
