Good morning all.

Well, I finally got the oil pan back up, and snugged down.
I put fresh oil in, and went to start it up, and all I heard was a whining noise.

Yes. I'm an idiot.
I forgot to put the starter back on.
It's just kinda hanging there on top of the lower control arm.
It spins pretty good though, so I don't think I'll need to replace that any time soon.

Anyway, you all can laugh at me now.
That was a rookie mistake for sure.

That's normal....
There's times I forgot to hook the battery back up and I'll be there a few mins trying to diagnose a no start then run to battery to find that the wires aren't hooked up...

I remember doing a swap on a 240 years ago and for the life of my could not figure out why it wouldnt start. So after a week or two of fighting it...the distributor wasnt plugged in.

Thanks guys.
Well, I'm gonna wait a bit for the rain to stop, then I'll go out and put the starter back in.

Hopefully I did the pan gasket right and it won't leak anymore.
I'll let you know.

Also. That red cherokee will be delivered to my place around 3:00. So I'll officially be a jeep owner again today.

You guys got any leads on a good glass shop? Gonna need a new windshield. Checked safelite and they want $250.

If Charlie's auto glass is still around they are a good outfit. $250 installed doesn't sound bad tho.
