Oh yeah, I did get stuck one time, but It's only cause I underestimated the depth of this puddle.

did your XJ have, like, 4 people in it? cause when i was on either 88 or 19 (roads) and saw a white XJ leave the woods.

i've been to Ocala before but never the OHV trails. so this was my first time. i did the whole Longleaf Trail, and parts of Hog Valley, Tobacco Patch, and Pipeline Trails. also some of the forest roads. on the trails a only saw 3 wranglers, 1 4runner, and a lot of atvs and dirt bikes. it was fun, i'd go back but once i get a few mods done i want to check out Hard Rock. one thing i didn't like was that some trails were so narrow that it was impossible to go through without scracthing up your vehicle. i have hundreds of scratches on my doors and windows, but well worth it

I had my wife and my youngest son with me... but he was in a baby seat in the back... my xj is white with silver rockers and flares and is unfortunately on street tires (255/60 15s)... the only time I was on my own was when I was leaving, and that was on 31st street rd... we come in off of CR-35 and 314, and then 24th street to 31st street rd to the trailhead.... well, till the pavement ran out anyway... can't remember which forest roads we were actually on though

We'll have to hook up with ya next time.

Right on.... if I wasn't rolling around on a bent rim, I would've aired down for a little better traction... but I still did alright.

Been a long time in this thread. Anyone that still comes to the forums here, check out "Four Play 4x4" on facebook. The leaders of the group know all the wheeling spots in ONF as well as pretty much any other spot in Marion County and Citrus.

Also check out "Cherokee Jeep Krew" on facebook for a wider range of fellow XJers with knowledge of trails statewide.

Pic just 'cause...

oh and if you see this jeep rollin' around town -

Yup... that's me.

Hope to see you guys out there some time.

OH!!! Almost forgot!

This weekend (March 7th & 8th) is the Southern Offroad Adventure Rally at the Market of Marion in summerfield. 3 different trails with increasing difficulty. Open to all makes and models under 140" wheelbase.

Yeah might wanna give it a month. They'll get bored and buzz off after that. I can honestly say I know most of the deputies that work that area... and they couldn't care less. FWC on the other hand... they might care - but I doubt it.
