Newbie in JAX....
Hey everyone!!
Just wanted to say whats up as I'm a newbie in the Fruit Cove area of North St. Johns county just south of Mandarin Duval County. Been looking around lately to upgrade my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 2"-3" budget lift, 1"-1.5" wheel spacers, and getting some AT/MT tires once lifted. Once all this is done, would love to go wheelin' with you guys so keep me in mind!!! I'll even try stock as long as the trail isn't too rough. Getting lot's of research done now to get as much info as possible on whats out there for the above mentioned lift. Any info? What's a good tire size that wont rub much after the lift? Will 265/70/17's work? What about 255/75/17's? much difference between the two?

I just got a 1998 Classic. Seems fine so far. Good paint is hard to find. No offroad here. Stricktly publix and Lowe's runs . Know a good mechanic?

Me and my dads favorite spots are Cary State Forrest and Jennings State Forrest. There used to be some huge mud pits through some of the trails that branched off of the power line roads in the Bartram trails/ mandarin area. I think they are all covered up by residential neighborhoods now.

Since most of yall in this thread are Floridians, what tires would yall recommend for this terrain we have here?
