I live in upstate South Carolina (near Greenville). My stepmom is currently driving a 1993 Chevy S10 with over 300,000 miles on the body. I'm not sure how many miles the engine has, it came out of a 2003 S10 several years ago. The interior is in bad shape (the driver's seat is held in by 2 nuts, the other 2 are broken off. To keep the seat from rocking, we have a deflated soccer ball pinned between the seat and the rear cab of the truck. It gets terrible gas mileage, about 7mpg. She actually has a 2006 Impala, but my brother is driving it because she doesn't want him driving the piece of crap truck.

Does anybody an extra vehicle sitting around that they would be willing to let me make small payments on? Right now money's pretty tight, and I could only do about $50/month, possibly more if it's a good week. As I get some other bills payed off, I can make larger payments. Also, we'd post the pick-up for sale or part it out, and I would use that to pay toward the car.

I'm not looking for anything fancy or even pretty. I'm just looking for something reliable and safe.
