Oh trust me, I use to underestimate my XJ, I stopped doing that a while ago when I went through a deep hole like it was nothing. I still doubt it sometimes, but I'm getting better to not.

Ahh, good ol nutbush, I know where it is, one of my friends lives there, I also get pretty close to it when I go to college.

I know, I've been plenty of places with mine, and the only time I have ever gotton stuck was when I got high centered going through Brunswick bottoms, I got into a rut where all the big trucks go and my little ol' 31s couldn't get traction in the rut where 35+ tiers usually go.

Yeah, I'd love to find a late model 2 door sometime, I'd still keep mine though for a DD and make the 2 door one that I could go all out with.

I will say though, I've started to wheel behind my house sometimes. They logged it and it's almost like rock crawling with all the rain run off, though the dirt gives way and to me it's harder that rock crawling. It's nice for trail riding. I got some videos of it on my YouTube page if you wanna see them, along with other videos of my Jeep.

Why don't guys join www.midsouthjeeps.com and come ride with us? We go to Superlift, Hawks Pride and SMORR pretty regularly. Nothing around here worth doing, so we do day and weekend trips to places with real trails.

I plan to eventually. I've known about it for a couple of years just don't have enough time or money to do much with it at the moment with going to college and if something breaks not having a ride the next day.

Not true... if you are truly interested in wheeling and helping other people with their rigs, you will be welcome with open arms...If you come in and and act like an ***, you will be shown the door rather quickly. Its simple, treat people like you want to be treated and you will be fine.

You don't need a dime to come hang out and meet people. Dues are $25 if want to be a paid member, and believe me, the paid membership is worth it. We have others that have stock vehicles that wheel them on mild runs and if they break, we fix them. Nobody is left behind after a run if something breaks, but they rarely do. Just know your limits and come out and have fun. Stay out of the bottoms and the mud and you most likely will be fine.

Well, you could get a new one... or find someone parting one out... or try to get one from either Mr. Complete (on Jackson Ave) or Pull-A-Part (not really recommended, hard to find a full motor.)

I went last week to Mr. Complete and they had a lot of Cherokee's, but also some Wranglers and Grand Cherokee's. IDK prices for motors though. They are Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep only, too.

Yeah, probably.

I only bough a ZJ drive shaft for my SYE there and I'd already went to Pull-A-Part and they didn't have any (only a xj one and I got it for $15 just in case I couldn't find another one) and online they (after shipping) were $100+ and they had one for $55. Yeah it was a lot ($60 after tax) but it was the only way to get it without paying over $100. So in my case it wasn't that bad. But, a engine is going to be pretty pricey no matter where you get one. Unless you know people they are willing to cut you a deal.
