thanks man, I bought it. I've got a 14 bolt, but I'd really like to not double drill anything, so I may just buy a 10.50 and keep the 14 bolt for the next time around. Let me know if you come across a stupid good deal on one. I saw your posts in the superduty 60 thread on pirate. I'm gonna do the coilover tabs the same as yours. The cast is already notched on the drivers side tube on mine too, so that's a huge plus.
I really want to do boatsides like that NAXJA thread we talked about. I'll have to trim it for the time being.
Send the unit bearings off to be RE drilled 8x6.5 and run H2 wheels to keep from being 90' wide.
14 bolts are stupid strong with stock shafts. Slap some gears in it, weld the carrier, disc brake it, and wheel it.
Well, I would want to shave mine if I were going to run a 14b. I'd put it in the mill at work and chop the housing and turn the ring gear down in the lathe. So I'd have a bunch of man hours in it. Maybe a 10.50 is a better option since it'd be less labor intensive in a way. How big is the housing?
Naw... good to go!!
I did create some havoc to it though... All minor stuff... drove her hard too... beat the **** out of her rock bouncer style... held up well!! She's parked for the year though... need to upgrade some things and no moneys till after the holidays...

I can still get them... what u wanting to spend?? 10.50 is smaller than a 14blt... already matches his front.. already had discs... come in 373 and 410... 1.5in thick 35spline shafts and 1/2in thick tube... I need to look at a 14blt oem specs but I bet the 10.50 and 10.25 are stronger yet smaller... Wrong!! Sort of... I drove out... pulling david again... lol I did push my artec ram up on the drivers side corner a bit... nothing major... go. A give them some slack though... lol Naw... good to go!! He must not know how to wheel.
On that GA jeepers ride did people just stop and film/ pic shoot every obstacle? That seems like it would take forever.

My alternator **** the bed about 5 miles from the end of the trail...I made it everywhere until my battery finally died after 2 hours of driving on it alone.
It was a very slow ride.

That sucks.
I figured it would be very slow. Do they not break up into groups or have vehicle requirements? I couldn't stand being stuck between some newbs who didn't know how to wheel on a trail where they don't belong. Small groups of 5-7 are about as big as I like to go in unless everyone wants to move fast.

I thought t hey were going to send us off in groups of like 10 or so...which would have been awesome....but i found out last minute we were sending all 50 off at once.
Very little carnage other than some dude breaking a control arm (left his jeep and it got stolen by the time he got back to it), one dude broke a front d-shaft and my alternator (and travz mj over heating).
Just a bunch of noobs that liked to go super slow.
There was a ****ing stock JK that followed everyone though...was very impressed with it

im sure they know who it is because the dummy dropped it off at a friends and told him he broke his jeep he was gonna come back to get it... that friend is friends with others that wheeled with us and posted all over FB saying it was stolen... so he called him and told him that jeep was at his house... they will get him soon enough...
