Some of the best trails on the east side of the US are just north of Grand Rapids.

So look on the Mich.gov site to find the above mentioned trails. Print out some map and go for an adventure!
This area is probably the best in the whole Midwest for free wheeling. When 3 of those trails are run together it is about 60 miles crossing only 3-4 paved roads

Don't forget you have to have both the ORV sticker, and the Trails sticker on your jeep or you'll get a big ticket from the Mich DNR. They look like this for those whom haven't seen them.
