Hey there fellow hoosiers. I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hi. I live in Bloomington. My rig: 97 XJ sport with 3" OME lift kit, 31" BFG AT's, JCR front bumper, and several other little improvements. More to come when the funds are right. I'll also post pics when I learn how.

Thanks for the welcome REWSTER and bmyohn.

REWSTER: I will go and intro myself in the main introduction thread. Nothing like feeling more welcomed.

bmyohn: I went to IU, and now am a catering chef at a golf resort. I have seen a few kick *** lifted XJ's around town. It looks like yours is blue? (might have seen it). I recall seeing your name on the NAXJA forum for sure though.

I was trying to be rig ready by the NAXJA Winterfest event but my Jeep fundage is too low. I definitley will be ready for the first Great Lakes run, and look forward to it. I also like the idea of an Indiana club. Maybe we could have an annual run as well.

You don't need much for Winterfest... Mainly some tow points, a strap, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. You can get all that for under a hundred if you are good.

Yea XJ Stryker, you are right, but I just want to make sure as I have never been organized wheelin before. I still need a 31" spare, rear recovery point, fire extinguisher, tow strap, and would like to have a cb, but I guess that isn't mandatory. The other thing I need is a high lift jack, but I am curious to know if the stock jack is suitable to pass inspection (i've never tried jacking it up w/ stock jack after lift)? I still might go even if the rig isn't ready as I want to see other rigs up close to learn some things and get some new ideas.
