yeah sounds cool....
As far as plans for my XJ.. I'm thinking a 4.5 or 6 inch lift (not sure yet)
I wanna run 30's with soft 8's.. I really dont want to have to change axles or anything like that or regear because im not very familiar with it..well if i did do that id deff. need help.
i wanna throw some lights on there... and i want air lockers...

I'll probably get the 4.5 lift with in a month or so though...so ya

Closest area to you is the mounds, $11 bucks to get in, ORV sticker required, most of the trails can be done in a stock rig. Lots of mud and a few small rock courses. We were up there a few weeks ago, keep your eyes peeled for a post on the next trail run.

Next closest is Rocks and Valleys ORV park in Harrison about 2 hours north, a much bigger park with trails from stock to modified. $20 bucks to get in, bumper mounted flag required.

All you should need to run these trails is recovery points, a tow strap, a camera, and a good attitude. A CB radio is always a plus esp at events with a lot of people. You can have a blast even in a stock jeep, and if you get stuck someone will pull you out.

Is your XJ not street legal Drive it there, wheel it and drive it home. If I had to trailer my XJ every time I wheeled, I would just sell it and build a buggy. Half the fun is playing "Whats that noise" on the way home.
