I'll definitely look into them. Thanks

Here some things I advise when it comes to WJ's since it's been my trail and DD rig for a while now.

I prefer the Inline 6 over the V8.
They are heavier than the XJ and you can tell.
Everything aftermarket (I.E. Lifts) are way more expensive for a WJ than a XJ.
The rear D35 in the WJ is crap and expect problems if you wheel a lot. See if you can find one with a D44a, though it's aluminum it is way stronger than the D35... Unless you decide to hang it on a rock lol

I used to take it to a shop off of FM78 a but the main mechanic left and works on his own now. (i cant remember his name at the moment. think it was like RJ or something)

Just didnt know if anybody here knows of a good mechanic.

Thanks

I found this place called "4X4 source" in the north east region. He seems like a jeep nut on his website (which is good) but I haven't been by yet to check it/him out.

I will find out for sure when I can find time to get there.
Since I just started my new job since moving here, I need to use the WJ as my DD still.

I do have a question for the locals though, who is recommended around here that is trust worthy and has a good knowledge of jeeps (mechanically)? I installed some RC quick disconnects and have developed a "do it when I want to" death wobble. I can drive it days without it happening then it will happen randomly and go away again.
Call RG, he owns a mechanic and fab shop 210-392-9332. Reasonably priced and he knows his stuff.

That's RG He used to work in a shop and now has his shop at his house. Awesome fabricator and hell of a mechanic. Prices are reasonable too

He is regearing the D30 this weekend. The 8.8 is ready for install, spring perches, truss and gears installed. Picking up new brake calipers and rotors on the way home. Other than someone to install it, any idea what else is needed?
