Just get a seal to put in the axle, and swap to a one-piece shaft on that side. I have several extras. Then you will never have to worry about that darned disconnect again.

wow, i missed this thread.

i am jason and i live in corpus christi which is about 3 hours north of the bottom tip of texas. we have very little for off roading here but am willing to drive to austin or out past hondo or up to houston to go 4x4ing. we actually have a liberty and a cherokee so we can make a little group (once the liberty gets its new motor put in)

I'm from Katy just west of hustle town, Barnwell mountain SE of Dallas is a super wheeling area, also BVORR (mainly accessible as a member of TX4WD.org) just west of Bryan/College station. Hope to meet some of you out on the trails...

tx4wd.org is slowly dying away. i joined it a while ago and it was only arguing between members and the admin about how the admin suck and the members get no vote on anything, blah blah blah. anyways, it turned me of. i have been back every once in a while to see if it improved but i think lots of people stopped checking it because of the arguing.

Anyone here from northwest LA, Shreveport/Bossier area? I'm stationed at Barksdale and I have no clue where to wheel except the offroad parks in east TX. Also I am in need of a cheap XJ if anyone has any leads
