That's what I wanted to do as well, but the wife made plans with some friends for that night. I plan on getting a good days worth tho. Lol

I'll have to try and get a pic of my truck later

I checked with HF about getting a group rate with 10 rigs. This is what they emailed back:

Subject: Group Rate

It shows on your website that you offer a group rate for more than 12 vehicles. Members of the Cherokee forum and myself are planning a day trip Sat. 11th. Looks like we are going to be short 2 rigs. Can we still get the group rate? Several of the forum members are past customers of Hidden Falls. Please let me know.

Thank you!

I can’t believe you actually sent me this e-mail. No, as you stated its for 12 or more vehicles for the discount. That’s our policy. I’m always amazed at these type of questions, it shows me how people don’t think. If the web site states our policy why do you think e-mailing us and asking us to go against our policy would make us go against our policy.

Great customer services skills. A simple no we can't do that would have done. Thanks for the email back!

Jeff and I have exchanged several heated emails after his first. I quit emailing him b/c I didn't want run the risk of not being welcome. I feel his return email was rude and unprofessional. After this trip I think I will start going to KR2 in Mason.

If anyone knows which Church owns HF I would like to know. I looked them up on Burnet County Tax Office it only shows a DBA. Still looking forward to this weekend!

Wow. I can't believe that. I agree, can't say I will be returning after this weekend. I'm a manager in retail and a manager/owner acting like that is completely uncalled for. Shows what a lack of competition does to a business. Very sad

Sorry I won't be able to make it anymore guys. A family thing came up so I'm out of town for it. I ended up picking up two 35x12.50R15 mud tires though cause I needed a full size spare. He wouldn't sell them separate so I have an extra now. One is a Maxxis Buckshot that the nipples aren't even worn off all the way. The other is a Super Sport Radial HT on a chrome 6 lug rim. It has never been on the road, just mounted and balanced. I only need one so either one is up for grabs. Just pm me if you're interested in one of them and make me an offer.

Me too man. It sucks man I've been so busy my extended brake lines are still in the box. Lately I've had no time to mess with the jeep.

Wow, what an *assClown.. After 12 years in Retail Management, and having owned my own business for several years I can say with out a doubt that his response was incredibly unprofessional.

I am honestly considering not even attending now. I am very cautious with whom I spend my hard earned dollars, and someone like that does not deserve them. It's a tough call, and it seems he knows he has people between a rock and a hard place, as there are not many places to off road around here.

I'm out of town right now, but will decide if we are still coming by Fri night..

Run the risk? no sir, he ran the risk of running off many would be customers.. I guess business is just that good out there...

Well that sucks... if no one ends up wanting to go to HF (I'm still coming, been REALLY looking forward to this trip, so I'll just bite my tongue), I looked up other parks, so here's a couple if this ends up getting cancelled, really hope it doesn't though, really wanna go!
