Wanting to start XJ club DSM area IOWA. POS jeep club
Forums are a great source for reference and knowledge. I usually can read and apply knowledge gained from forums but i know sometimes its hard to follow written instructions with out actually being able to see it. We could help each other out by sharing knowledge and experience.
Also i have noticed that connections are the way to get through life a little easier. Say you dont have a welder but someone else in the club does, He could let you use it or weld it for you. The same could be said if you had a skill or tool that he needed, you could help him out. This also applies to parts. One mans junk is another mans treasure. Maybe something you dont want or need anymore someone wants. Having a collection of people that drive the same thing makes sorcing parts alot easier.
Having someone to appreciate your work. I build most of my own stuff and am really proud of it. I make it a point to take my wife out to show it to her and blahhh, SHe doesnt care. I would like to show my work to people who would appreciate it.
Having someone/somewhere to wheel with/at. I am always looking for someone to go wheel with. Being in a club pretty much will make sure you will always have someone to wheel with. Sourcing new places to wheel is always nice. I personally do not have many places to go wheel but always want more.
We have 3 members working out of my shop. 3 prospects that will be parcially working out of my shop. and 2 prospects out of bloomfield. I am wanting to increase this greatly. Let me know if you are interested
