This Happened on St. Patty's Day, this last Sunday afternoon. I would like to keep it for a 100% trail dedicated rig, but its really going to be a while til it sees another trail, I will have to trailer it. Sooo, I would need a truck and trailer and now more stuff to do to the jeep. It still drives good, and I just hope the new car payments and wedding stuff dont hurt me too much

Haha i would, every door is tricky to open and close, especially the front doors. The rear hatch will not open, and has no glass, just a reason for removing carpet sooner. the windshield is shattered but obviously not that bad and not broken out, all I have to deal with is touching the roof with my head now. A BFH should fix that soon. Oh, i really need lots of oil, and some de-greaser.

Man... so sorry to hear about your mishap, but definitely glad to hear the Misses is ok... we all joke, but none of this would be worth it if someone close to us was injured...

Don't worry man, you will be back wheelin' in no time... until then I wish you the best of luck...

Default Update

Alright, Its been a long time, and now its time for an update.

I got married on July 20, 2013.

Before that, since March, had to sell my rolled xj... very sad day. however if I had the money I would totally buy everything back and the XJ my buddy owns. I miss the XJ thing, and Im hooked lol. Driving this little car bothers me so much but at least it get 4X the mpg and most of all my wife loves the car.

Well other than that, my military career is alright and hopefully gets better here in the next few months, and I will decide if I will re-enlist, or get out. I cant believe I have been in for 5 years already.

Hopefully I will get another XJ and get to wheeling again... I still have a free 2 day wheeling pass for SMORR

just stopping in to say hey from Marshfield(springfield area) Missouri.

I just got my 01 Xj, bone stock. eventually(slowly) Id like to get it lifted with some 33's and some other goodies and hit the trails. nothing hardcore, just good old trails.

anway if anyone is from round here feel free to shoot me a message I love tinkering on vehicles(long as theres a chance at beer and a good time)

Just bought a 2001 xj, only 4,200 original miles! Everything is bone stock and looks like its factory new. I'm going to school at Mizzou so I probably wont have any spare cash to lift it or anything any time soon. I've been looking at some of those parks like smoor and flat nasty, I've seen that they have easy trails. But are those easy trails somewhere that a stock jeep could/should go? Or should I just wait and stick to gravel roads and mud puddles? haha

Yeah I got really lucky, an old lady got it in a divorce settlement and never drove it, then I got it as part of the estate sale when she passed away. For some reason my computer is giving me trouble again. But my profile pic is the only one I have of it on my computer right now anyway

I'm on the app so I can't look at your picture any bigger, but it looks nice. I've always liked that color

I'm in Columbia and just picked up my first XJ. 2000 Sport with 94,000 miles and all stock. I've owned a lot of Jeeps (TJ's, CJ's, and FSJ's) bu this is the first XJ. Going to keep the mods pretty mild on this one.
