can someone please help in the st louis area

Default st louis area

I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee sports that shakes really bad the death wobble as people say I have replace my track bar and my wheel hubs my steering damper and steal it shakes I was wondering if there were any Jeep guys in the st. Louis area that can maybe help me with my problem maybe show me what the problem is or can fix it for me without it costing me an arm and a leg I would really appreciate it thanks guys

If you have a Facebook account, friend Midwest Jeepthing and post this on their page. I'd help, but I only have a year of this hobby under my belt, so probably not the best to troubleshoot the issue with.

Did you get it aligned?

Having a proper alignment will get rid of a lot of shimmy.

Also are the wheels and tires properly balanced?

There's a lot of info out there on the topic.. you basically have to go though front end parts and procedures one by one to eliminate the problem(s). Start with the track bar and double check your mounting holes and make sure they are wobbled out. Good luck, it can all be fixed.

thanks my friend but I may be one of the only few people they don't have a Facebook page I don't do any social networking just joining this forum was a big step for me but I appreciate the idea hopefully I'll found someone who can help

I didn't get an alignment but I know my tires are properly balanced so I'll give the alignment a try thanks for your help

I'll double check my track bar and the mounting holes Thanks but it looks like I'm going to have to go through piece by piece which I really don't know much about so I have to get as much information as I can thanks for the great idea
