Nice i am thinking i will go with the Rough Country 4.5. is there a way to solve the transfer case issue with out spending the big bucks on the long arm kit?
or should i just do that, get the 4 in long arm. how big of an issue is the "****y tcase"?

just put in a new airaid intake system. pretty sweet. (not that big of a mod, but basically the first one, besides my custom decal)

What are opinions on the rustys offroad 3 inch kit? its got full leaf packs and shocks included for $438 and you can get heavy duty coils too.

yeup i smoked the fronts myself with VHT nightshade from oriellys..i had the taillights smoked too but the po-po didnt like it as much as i did and had one cracked housing and busted out the other so i just got new ones and just did 2 coats on them..
I was sitting at about 4-5 inch in front and about 3 in rear. because I had a couple fat ladies in back haha no just my big storage box and tool box.

i looked at there kits too, i was just thinking 4.5 vs 3 inches, however i might reconsider. seems like i dont want to go to big, creating more work or parts to buy to make it work.
the other thing, i was trying to keep it local and go through iron rock, i guess i should get all the parts added up and then see what shipping is and how it all plays out in cost.
if i do a 3 or 3.5 kit do you have issues with the tcase?

so i thought of something else just got new tire and if i lift i am going to need to get bigger ones, i have about two weeks to exchange them still but i am not sure how big i can go with trimmed fenders and no lift kit. any ideas i am thinking i could go 31? if i trim the fenders up. would 30s look okay on a three inch lift? i shouldnt go bigger then three inches if i have smaller wheels right?
thanks for all your help and opinions guys

no t-case issues with a 3.5 for me. i have about a 3/8 home made t-case drop and thats about it. Iron Rock kit would be my choice. I dont think 30s would look bad on 3.5 inches, but if your fenders are cut and fender flares are removed they might look "small." you should be able to go all the same places a xj on 31s could go.

I'd go with 31's or 32's with the 3.5 inch or 4.5 with slightly trimmed fenders. Long arms are always a good thing but just a lot more money. no problems with 3-5 inches of lift it sounds like with aircruiser and xjrev's jeeps. just get a t case drop kit. or do an Sye.

well here is an update for you guys. i am thinking i am going with:
http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch..._Code=IR-X_3LK
should i upgrade to the 3.5 inch Leaf Springs?
im going with this one because i can easily upgrade later.
i am pushing up the install date, the tire place is going to exchange them for me if i can lift it before of slightly after the 30 warranty as long as i treat the tires good.
so here is the dates i am thinking. nov 7th?
hope you guys are still willing to help.

Looks like a good choice! but if I were you I would upgrade to the adjustable track bar and jks quicker disconnects. That way you can have better articulation while wheeling. And if you decide later on to lift more that adjustable track bar will be nice. Stay with the add a leaf set up to keep it cheaper. You might want to get those u bolts too incase we have to cut the old one off, if they are rusted bad.
I could help as long as thats not our families hunting weekend. If its not then I will help out.

that looks like a good kit. I would definately go with the full leaf packs if you got the cash but thats cause my springs are super saggy. I dont think I will be able to help w/install. My 31s only rub on the front LCAs when i turn sharp but im on 7.5" stock wheels and 10.5 wide tires and no lift. The only reason i dont want to go long arm is that I dont want to have to SYE it
