welcome guys! so which o rileys do you work at hasley?

i got kind of an update... yesterday when i started the jeep up to let it warm up, it didnt stall. instead, as it was running, it sounded like it was going to stall and it sputtered for a sec, then caught itself, revved up and stayed running. im hoping with me farting around with stuff, maybe i must of helped something out. we shall see.

im going to get a fuel pressure gauge and check that as someone suggested that to me.

since you keep my mind turning about axles posjeepxj, i been thinking about a ford 9 inch rear. has anyone been doing that to there xjs?

When did you get your Ironman control arms? I ordered a set of lowers almost a month ago and haven't seen them yet.

Nope. Got it painted, but it is still sitting in my basement. Need to get some steel to tie into the unibody. I might take some pics tomorrow for the humble beginnings file.

Well, depends. I need to figure out how I want to mount it. It came with just the 4 hole plates welded onto the extensions which would bolt on where the factory mounts bolted on. That would never be strong enough for recovery or towing. I thought about using 2x6x3/16 or 1/4 rect tube to go into the unibody cavity after cutting open the hole where the nutstrip for the hitch is and then welding matching mount plates on the end of those. Then bolt the mount plates for the bumper to those mount plates. I will take some pics today.

yes the iornman control arms where on my jeep when i bought it btam13. i know they make everything when its ordered so it takes some time to build and i think they are getting alot more business lately. be patient....

james gots your old quad huh hasley? i know kinda know james. hes an A class racer.... lil bit faster than me as i run in the B class. how about kyle arthur? know him? he used to work for craig watts before his passing.. hes a good friend of mine.

new thing happened to my beast today. started it to warm it up turned the heat on, went inside and it stayed running the whole time. went to leave, jumped in and it was cold. no blower motor at all. i think its a fuse or relay and im gonna check that out here in a sec.

man i miss my old jeep soooo much. it was good to me. heres a pic of the old one.

no, the fingers not for any of you... lol.
